Overview
Flowserve is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition specializing in Talent Intelligence to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading strategic talent acquisition initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to shape and drive our talent strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of Selection & Assessment, Workforce Planning, Early Talent Programs, Employee Value Proposition, and Competitive Intelligence to ensure the attraction and retention of extraordinary talent to Flowserve.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Selection and Assessment Strategies: Develop and implement effective selection and assessment methods to identify top talent, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and culture.
- Talent Intelligence: Utilize advanced analytics and tools to gather, analyze, and interpret data related to industry trends, talent market dynamics, and competitor strategies.
- Workforce Planning: Collaborate with HR and business leaders to forecast staffing needs and develop strategic hiring plans.
- Recruitment Process Optimization: Continuously improve recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and candidate experience.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of talent acquisition professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Employment Branding: Drive employment branding efforts to enhance the organization's reputation and attract top talent by promoting company culture, values, and career opportunities.
- Early Career Programs: Design and manage programs aimed at attracting and developing early career talent, including internships, co-op programs, and entry-level positions.
- University Relations: Build and maintain strong partnerships with universities and educational institutions to create a pipeline of top talent and enhance employer branding.
- Co-Op Programs: Collaborate with academic institutions to create and oversee co-op programs that provide students with hands-on experience and opportunities for career development.
- Skilled Trade Apprenticeships: Develop and manage apprenticeship programs for skilled trades, ensuring the acquisition and retention of specialized talent.
- Internal Talent Sourcing: Develop and implement an internal talent sourcing strategy to identify and leverage existing talent within the organization for new opportunities and growth.
- Talent Pipelines: Create and manage robust talent pipelines to ensure a continuous flow of qualified candidates for current and future organizational needs.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on talent intelligence and analytics.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and the capability to drive data-informed decisions.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of talent acquisition trends, best practices, and competitive intelligence in the industry.
- Selection and Assessment Strategies: Proven expertise in developing and utilizing selection and assessment tools and techniques to identify the best candidates for various roles.
