Transformation Manager
for our global team in Budapest.
The role:
The OneSource Transformation & Solutions team’s objective is to support the set-up, growth, and scalability of cross-functional integrated Global Business Services solutions (insource/outsource) for Estee Lauder Companies.
We are looking for a driven individual to work as part of a team of problem solvers. You will serve as a key player on a lean, high impact team, playing an instrumental role in progressing strategic decisions, developing key business processes, and managing change across global and regional initiatives and programs.
Responsibilities:
The OneSource Transformation & Solutions team’s objective is to support the set-up, growth, and scalability of cross-functional integrated Global Business Services solutions (insource/outsource) for Estee Lauder Companies. The incumbent will play a critical role in leading and coordinating global/regional initiatives and programs, translating them into business impact and value.
- Drive complex programs of work, demonstrate end-to-end leadership of transformation roadmaps and/or initiatives, from opportunity to execution.
- Demonstrate pro-active project leadership, managing project plans, scope, deadlines, and resources, proactively identify and mitigate risks, whilst adhering to internal standards and requirements.
- Collaborate across the business to ensure project solution recommendations are aligned with the organization, department (OneSource, and partners), and stakeholder objectives.
- Support solution development, seizing opportunities to develop functional experience/expertise where possible.
- Provide decision and insights support, secure stakeholder/project leadership buy-in through making clear actionable takeaways and data-driven recommendations that are aligned to business goals.
- Provide timely updates, including tracking and reporting of status, reviews, milestones, escalations and mitigations, including:
- Set-up and maintain the progress of project milestones and linked deliverables & tasks in JIRA (project management tool).
- Track risk and issues, escalate and provide action-recommendations for proactive mitigation.
- Maintain and publish project status dashboards for different stakeholder groups.
- Support the development of, and execute change management strategies to support transformation programs/initiatives –leverage storytelling and clear communication to inspire change.
- Ensure that methodologies, deliverables, frameworks etc. are aligned, and in compliance with internal project governance frameworks.
- Partner with IT and other digital teams to support implementation and optimization of enabling technologies and processes, to improve service delivery.
- Support continuous improvements project/efforts in core process areas.
- Keep up to date with GBS & wider industry trends, such as enabling technologies and solutions.
- Foster an environment that encourages building functional experience and relationships with internal stakeholders and SMEs to help support change at pace.
- Support the creation of internal knowledge artifacts - including transformation toolkits, deliverable templates, frameworks, questionnaires, checklists etc.- to support growth within the team.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in business transformation, strategy & operations, consulting, project management, or similar roles.
- Interest in the beauty industry, and in tackling cross-functional business problems.
- Structured, logical thought process, with a willingness to deal with ambiguity.
- Proven record of working with large teams with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on transformation.
- Ability to distill complex information and topics (both quantitative and qualitative – e.g. data, processes) into clear and concise narratives for senior stakeholders, to support decision making, project updates, operating forums etc.
- Proven record of success as both an individual contributor and a people leader.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (written and spoken).
- Experience with Project Management tools (JIRA etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with Data Analytics/Visualization skills are a plus.
