SUMMARY:

This job is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards of products produced. Other responsibilities include:

• Production paperwork verification & production floor checks;
• Performing GMP and housekeeping audits.
• Responsible for Team Member food safety training.
• Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results, & coordinating with others.

This position is responsible for food safety food quality and legality.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor s degree preferred. Experience: 2 plus years in a food manufacturing environment with production preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred. HACCP certified preferred; must have broad knowledge of HACCP USDA GMP SSOP's.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for creating simple queries spreadsheets etc. SAP knowledge preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills verbal and written; bilingual a plus.

Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a small group of personnel who perform somewhat similar tasks.
