Job Description:
Responsible for the coordination of employer recruiting activities and events. Provides support to the Assistant Dean of Career Strategy, the Assistant Director of Employer and Alumni Outreach, and other members of the Office of Career Strategy (OCS) in the support of employer recruiting activities and events on and off campus and virtually.

Essential Functions
- Oversees the daily operations of the W&L Law Office of Career Strategy. Acts as the primary point of contact for the office, including student interaction. Delivers comprehensive administrative and organizational support at a high level.
- Assists in the planning and execution of all recruiting programs, creating and managing interview schedules, communicating with legal employers, law school peers, and law students, and resolving employer and student concerns related to recruiting events. Also supports event preparation by managing small-scale logistics, such as setting up refreshments, and ensuring meeting spaces are organized and welcoming.
- Reconciles the recruiting program budget and processes accounts for all recruitment activities.
- Works with students and employers to coordinate the recruiting process through the on-campus and off-campus interview programs. Coordinates requirements, deadlines, and information flow for jobs from potential employers and maintains accurate records and updates for employer information.
- Manage communication logistics, including creating flyers, preparing nametags, and gathering related materials for events; ensure all items are collected, organized, and appropriately displayed.
- Oversees the career management software, including preparing for training sessions for students and assisting employers. Ensures students are kept aware of positions available through the SCORE database.
- Provides verbal and/or written responses to inquiries from students, parents, the public, employers, vendors, etc., regarding a variety of questions regarding career and employment issues, routing more complex issues to the appropriate staff member. Assists students and prospective employers with application questions and employment paperwork.
- Manages all receipts and business office travel documents. Responsible for keeping the office informed of new business office travel expense guidelines.
- Develop a good grasp of the Office's roles within the overall School of Law and University's mission and structure. Makes recommendations and implements process improvements to help the Office run as efficiently as possible.
- Serve as a key member of the W&L Law Office of Career Strategy team, providing support on additional projects as needed. Provide administrative support as needed to the Assistant Dean of Career Strategy.
- Additional related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend hours required. This position works 35 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A high school degree is required and a bachelor's degree is preferred or a combination of education and experience in the legal field from which a similar skillset would be achieved.
- Proficiency in Word, Outlook and Excel is required, and exposure to recruiting software or databases is preferred.
- Position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work collaboratively and strategically, and proficiency in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner and on deadline.
- The position requires interpersonal skills, the ability to listen effectively, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- High levels of energy, motivation and determination required.
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who works independently and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
