Under the supervision of the UN Women Country Programme Manager, the Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB) Programme Analyst provides support to the effective implementation and coordination of the GRB project for the Uzbekistan office. This role involves providing technical support for programme design, formulation, and implementation, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting of the project activities, coordinating project team and budget, fostering partnership, and supporting resource mobilization strategies for programme expansion, and supporting the delivery of effective development initiatives and results. Additionally, the Programme Analyst will lead knowledge management efforts by documenting the best practices and lessons learned on GRB. The GRB project, funded by the European Union Delegation to Uzbekistan for two years aims to establish a GRB programme in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Agriculture to enhance gender-responsive financial planning and policy implementation.
The Programme Analyst works in close collaboration with the programme and operations team, UN Women HQ staff, Government officials, multi and bi-lateral donors and civil society ensuring successful UN Women programme implementation under portfolio.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: Gender Responsive Budgeting programme will be in total of two members with a perspective of expansion. The Programme Analyst is expected to manage the programme assistant under as a direct supervisor.
