This is your new job:

The Product Manager maximizes revenue and profitability of the R34 small-signal MOSFET portfolio in China. He /she owns the Pricing and Go to Market (G2M) strategy for running portfolio.

  • drive revenue and the profitability of the assigned product segment to achieve KPIs
  • business partner for BG Marketing and Global Sales & Marketing (GSM)
  • develop key customer & channel strategies together with Product Group head, Business Marketing Managers, Product Marketing Managers and GSM
  • own and negotiate the pricing tactics and quote policies for all sales channels for assigned portfolio
  • create China specific Go-to-market presentation material
  • Competitor analysis: consolidate input about local China competitor behaviours, especially pricing strategy at Disti and OEM channel, inputting (to Industrial) for required cost down roadmaps to reach Product Group margin targets
  • Drive design-in/design-win success through organizing necessary support to BG Marketing and GSM

This is you:

The role requires profound knowledge and experience in MOSFET portfolio and related commercial tasks like pricing strategies, channel management and negotiation. Furthermore, a strong ability to manage a complex network of internal and external stakeholders, including customers is required.

What is the preferred degree, education and experience level?

  • graduated with diploma in electrical engineering - prerequisite
  • english language skills to network with colleagues around the globe -- prerequisite
  • 5 years experience in discrete semiconductors (Marketing, Sales, Application) - prerequisite
  • thereof 3 years experience in MOSFETs - prerequisite
  • work for local Chinese discrete supplier - prerequisite
  • additional experience in discrete semiconductor manufacturing (wafer, package) - desired

What (soft) skills does the required candidate have? (all prerequisite)

  • curiosity in understanding market dynamics and industrial landscape
  • healthy level of self-convidence
  • strong desire for networking with people
  • balanced

This is your department and colleagues:

The location for this position will be Shanghai (Putuo) or Shenzhen. In both locations we have a large team of Marketing and Sales colleagues to work together with you. In addition you will have regluar contact with the marketing, quality, R&D, Industrial and Logistics team in Hamburg (Germany).
