Senior Manager, Clinical Data Management

Schrödinger seeks a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager, Clinical Data Management to join our Early Clinical Development Team. This hire will report to the Senior Director of Clinical Data Solutions and Sciences and will play an essential role in a broad range of activities necessary to drive and manage clinical data aspects for first-in-human and proof-of-concept drug development.

As a Manager of Clinical Data Management at Schrödinger, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing clinical trial data processes to ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of clinical data across our research programs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to support the successful execution of clinical trials.

Our Early Clinical Development team is at the forefront of drug development, steering clinical proof of concept through a proprietary physics-based drug design and optimization platform. This environment is dynamic and fast-paced, offering an exciting opportunity for impactful contributions.

What you will do:

  • Tactically execute on agreed upon short- mid- and long-term clinical data goals to ensure the deliverables met, on-time, on-budget and with high quality.
  • Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to define, test and implement data systems to capture the appropriate clinical data needs (e.g., EDC, IRT, ECG, ePRO) for the study.
  • Oversee the development of data management documents for the clinical trials and execute data transfer plans for external data.
  • Manage data transfers by implementing data transfer agreements, setting up study level validated automated data flows and relays for data receipt through archival.

What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Life Sciences/ Clinical Research.
  • At least twelve (10+) years of clinical data management experience within both pharmaceutical and biotech environments and early clinical development oncology.
  • Experience as lead clinical data management for global first-in-human and proof-of-concept oncology clinical trials.
  • Extensive critical thinking skills and ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical trial data standards (CDISC/SDTM/Adam).
  • Expert knowledge with Medidata Rave electronic data capture (EDC) and integrated clinical data modules (e.g., IRT, ECG, ePRO)
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA, ICH) related to clinical data management.

Estimated annual base salary range: $140,000-$180,000 (NY only). Actual compensation package is dependent on a number of factors, including, for example, experience, education, degrees held, market data, and business needs.
