Are you our new IT Team Lead Reflect Development?
As a Technology Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of technology professionals in the development, implementation (incl. breaking of stories, and maintenance of software solutions for two related applications). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, business lines and vendors to deliver high-quality products and business requirements within an agile environment.
The role requires some technical expertise, leadership skills, scrum master experience and the ability to effectively manage and mentor team members while managing expectations of several stakeholders.
Location: Riga
What will you do:
- Lead a team of technology professionals in the design, development, testing, deployment (incl. business requirement gathering, breaking work into stories, refining, estimation, implementation, code review, etc.) and support of software solutions sting for Reflect & PAM Applications.
- Act as Scrum Master to facilitate collaboration with product ownership and across the team to define project requirements and priorities.
- Oversee the execution of project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Take on the role of technology owner for both Reflect & PAM applications. This includes managing technical associated risks, working with business owners and other stakeholders (i.e. Audit, Compliance, Information Security, etc.)
- Drive code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality, scalability and maintainability keeping in mind information security standards.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and other stakeholders, by effectively communicating project status, risks, and dependencies. Coordination with vendors might be required.
- Foster a collaborative, self-directed, cross-functional and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication and constructive feedback.
- Provide some technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Drive process improvements and best practices in software development methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Configure Jira boards, filters, and dashboards, leveraging plugins to optimize task tracking, workflow visibility, and team performance
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development (5+ years), and ideally at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role preferably in an agile environment.
- Very good knowledge of software development life-cycle, deep understanding of software development principles, tools, practices and methodologies (Ideally with experience as team lead)
- Solid understanding of Lean, Scrum, and Kanban principles, applying these methodologies to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and foster an Agile-driven team environment
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment automation.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering practical solutions to complex technical challenges while advising product teams.
- Great interpersonal skills with a lot of proactivity. Take action and lead by example.
- Good working knowledge or project tools (i.e. Jira & Confluence)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in .NET programing and frameworks is as plus.
- Language: Full English proficiency is mandatory (Verbal & Written)
