YOUR ROLE AS A HEAD, PEOPLE AND CULTURE
The Head, People and Culture is pivotal in driving the organization's people strategy and fostering a culture that aligns with the overall business objectives.
This executive leader is responsible for enhancing employee engagement, promoting diversity and inclusion, and developing a talent pipeline that supports organizational growth. The Head of People and Culture reports to the CEO and collaborates with executive leaders and department heads to influence the organization's strategy. This role encompasses key responsibilities in strategic planning and administration.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive people and culture strategy that aligns with the organization's mission, vision, and goals. Collaborate with the executive team to drive initiatives that support strategic workforce planning and organizational development.
Talent Acquisition and Development:
- Lead strategies for attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent.
- Oversee performance management processes and create frameworks for employee growth and development. Promote a culture of continuous learning with access to training and professional development opportunities.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEl):
- Champion DEl initiatives within the workplace to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to track the progress and success of DEl efforts.
Employee Engagement and Well-being:
- Develop programs and policies that enhance employee engagement, job satisfaction, and well-being.
- Implement feedback mechanisms, such as employee surveys and focus groups, to continuously assess and improve the employee experience.
Organizational Culture:
- Foster a positive and collaborative organizational culture that reflects the company's values and supports its mission.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop policies and practices that mitigate risks related to human resources and organizational behavior.
Strategic Planning and Alignment:
- Serve as a strategic partner in developing the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
- Aligning people strategies with corporate strategy, ensuring a workforce capable of meeting current and future business challenges.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with various departments, including finance, operations, and marketing, to implement a cohesive strategy.
- Act as a strategic advisor to other leaders, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPls) to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives. Prepare and present reports on strategic progress and insights to senior leadership and the board.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably as a Head People Officer or similar position.
- Strong understanding of workforce planning, talent management, and organizational design.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to think strategically and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with DEl initiatives and programs is essential.
