Job Summary
Responsible for establishing, implementing, and sustaining effective recruitment and retention efforts on behalf of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). Works collaboratively with the dean, associate dean, and school directors to plan and coordinate activities, services, and events that support the college’s recruitment and retention goals. Develops effective and productive relationships with community colleges and high schools in support of recruitment and increased awareness of CAS programs and opportunities. Liases with colleagues in the Offices of Admissions and Orientations and Transition Programs to ensure seamless participation in University recruitment and orientation activities.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline related to the college, marketing, student services, or a related field; and one year of experience in higher education, marketing, recruitment, and/or sales. Driver’s license required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline related to the college, marketing, student services, or a related field; and prior experience in college recruitment with demonstrated results.
