General Job Description: The Learning Systems Business Analyst will serve as a resource to the Director of Training and ACCO employees by owning reporting and insights from our learning systems. This role will focus on working inside the LMS and related systems to create clear, actionable dashboards and reports that help stakeholders make informed, data-driven decisions about training and talent development.

The ideal candidate is highly skilled at extracting, combining, and visualizing learning data from multiple sources, with a strong eye for detail and business storytelling. They will be responsible for creating regular and ad hoc reports requested by stakeholders, ensuring that data is clear, actionable, and aligned with business needs. This individual should be comfortable working inside the LMS and related systems to deliver high-quality dashboards and insights that drive decision-making across the organization.

Approximately 40% of the role will also support LMS operations, including responding to service requests, maintaining system data integrity, and assisting a revenue-generating internal client with reporting needs.

Work Location and Schedule

This role follows a hybrid work schedule requiring employees to work four (4) days per week onsite at one of ACCO’s primary offices, and one (1) day remote. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of an ACCO primary office location (Los Angeles . Regular onsite presence is essential for success in this role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end learning reporting and analytics process, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability across platforms.
  • Create regular and ad hoc reports based on stakeholder requests, translating learning data into clear, business-friendly formats.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards in Smartsheet, PowerPoint, and LMS tools to visualize training engagement, course completions, and learning effectiveness.
  • Extract, link, and combine datasets from the LMS and related systems to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Analyze trends in training participation and program outcomes to provide actionable insights to senior leadership and operational leaders.
  • Establish and implement standardized reporting frameworks and best practices for learning analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align learning reporting with broader business and performance goals.
  • Manage LMS operations, including processing service requests, managing tickets, performing routine system maintenance, and troubleshooting user issues.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and maintain data integrity within the LMS.
  • Provide reporting and system support to a revenue-generating internal client as assigned.
  • Identify opportunities for improving reporting processes, automation, and visualization methods.
  • Act as a backup to the LMS Administrator for key system tasks as needed.

Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Data Analytics, Learning & Development, Business, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 2–5 years of experience in LMS reporting, business analysis, learning systems support, or HR analytics.
  • Strong experience creating regular and ad hoc reports from learning systems and related platforms.
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and LMS reporting tools (experience with Cornerstone SBX or Saba is a plus).
  • Ability to extract, link, and combine datasets to enhance reporting accuracy and insight quality.
  • Strong skills in data visualization, with the ability to build intuitive, business-friendly dashboards and reports.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on data integrity, quality, and consistency.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with basic SQL, data joining techniques, or reporting tool configuration is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience handling LMS service requests, troubleshooting basic user issues, and supporting system maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) at an ACCO primary office location.

Travel: Up to 10% of the time to and from the primary office to regional and branch offices.

Compentive Wages:

$65,000 to $88,750 Annual Salary.
