This Senior Director of Multifamily Underwriting position reports to the Vice President, Multifamily Underwriting and Credit. The role will provide risk analysis for loan originations, structuring and negotiating transactions to minimize credit risk, and leading a team of underwriters managing pipeline and timeframes to meet our customers’ closing of commercial real estate transactions. Your Impact:

  • Have a strong knowledge of regulatory and firm risk policies
  • Participate with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives
  • Partner with production counterpart to optimize relationship
  • Make final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations' effective achievement of objectives
  • Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements
  • Regularly interact with executives and/or major customers
  • Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization
  • Direct and control the activities of a broad functional area

Qualifications:

  • College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.
  • Typically has 12+ years of related work experience in the commercial/multifamily real estate industry and 4+ years management experience

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $230,000 - $344,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
