BAE Systems is looking for a Sr. SW Integration Test Engineer for future work on our government customer’s new program that delivers applications and solutions across multiple classification levels in the environment. The Sr. SW Integration Test Engineer will be expected to:

  • Designs, develops, and implements software test and integration as part of CMI Services DevSecOps scrum and release team.
  • Supports software integration through testing and QA feedback. Plans and arranges labor resources, schedules, and environment required for testing and evaluating standard and special software tools.
  • Develops test parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles test data and defines changes required in test environment, procedures, test verification processes, and new test requirements.
  • Recognized expert within the organization who designs, researches and develops highly advanced applications, which may result in new products, processes, and projects.
  • Mentors junior members of the team and may lead one or more projects or a small team.
  • Evaluates and determines changes in methods or procedures in assigned area of responsibility.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • DoD 8570 IAT II (or better) Certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+)
  • Experience with testing, usability, security and build/tools management
  • Experience with formal system testing activities for a particular project or subset of a larger project
  • Experience with analysis of documented user requirements and directs or assists in the design of test plans in support of user requirements for moderately complex to complex software or IT systems.
  • Strong demonstrated communication skills – written, oral, verbal
  • Experience with test design, documentation, and reporting
  • Eight (8) years of overall relevant work experience

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Understanding the need for and be an advocate of disciplined approaches (requirements, processes, and practices).
  • Software and Functional requirements analysis to determine testability, and to develop test cases.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, to include searching Agile and Kanban boards, creating Dashboards, and creating and managing tickets/issues.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
