about the role

Context

Within Orange Business Product & Marketing, the Communication Services Business Line is dedicated to developing and launching products for the enterprise market, focusing on connectivity, customer experience, voice, and collaboration solutions. The Collaboration & Customer experience product Development (CCD) department plays a crucial role in providing technical expertise and managing projects to create standard services and tailored offers for demanding customers

Mission

As the Team Manager, you will lead a team of engineering experts in the EX and CX domains.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Leadership and Management: Oversee the team’s activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for validation processes and testing plans that enhance service quality and performance.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical expertise and support to team members, ensuring thorough validation processes within a diverse ecosystem.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project leads and cross-functional teams to align on validation strategies and best practices.
  • Pre-sales Support: Assist in pre-sales activities by leveraging technical knowledge to engage with customers effectively.
  • Process Optimization: Streamline validation processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Innovation: foster innovation in the team both for product development purposes and for innovating in the way of working (agility, AI etc)
  • Local manager for other CCD team members : establish a local animation within CCD and provide feedback, handle local processes, provide advice and support to their functional managers who are based outside of Egypt.

about you

Expectations

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a relevant engineering field, with a focus on Cloud Collaboration or Voice.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Microsoft Collaboration solutions, voice technologies (SIP, QoS, SBC, codecs), and networking infrastructure.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen curiosity for new technologies.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
