Under the supervision of the Programme Management Officer, Finance Unit, Mitigation Branch, Climate Change Division, the consultant will deliver the specific output as follow: • Recommendations on gender datasets which can be incorporated into ASEAN Energy Database System (AEDS). Performance indicators: • Consultant receives satisfactory rating of analysis and recommendations on gender-energy data by UNEP EmPower team.

Duties and Responsibilities
UN Environment Programme in partnership with UN Women is implementing the second phase of the EmPower: Women for Climate Resilient Societies Programme to scale up results and promote gender-responsive and human rights-based climate action by supporting key regional and country stakeholders to achieve a broader impact across the Asia-Pacific region. Southeast Asia through the ASEAN Renewable Energy-Gender Roadmap is raising awareness on gender and developing a gender database. They need support with defining and adding gender and inclusivity indicators into their existing renewable energy database. The Consultant, in partnership with UNEP EmPower team and the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), will help assess ASEAN’s gender-energy baseline data to identify and recommend gender indicators for the ASEAN Energy Database System (AEDS).
