The Industrial Engineer will be an essential member of the Supply Chain team responsible for planning and leading project and process improvement initiatives within the Distribution and fulfillment network. The incumbent will be responsible for managing and driving projects related to distribution and fulfillment network processes and continuous improvement initiatives, especially regarding a focus in automation. This individual should effectively exhibit JD Finish Line’s core values of Customer, People, Winning, Community, and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following key duties:
Required Education and/or Experience-
Minimum of 2 - 4 years’ experience in industrial, supply chain, or operations engineering required, preferably in a retail distribution environment. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Industrial Engineering from a four-year accredited program focusing on supply chain, or operations engineering, preferably for a retail distribution environment. Internal JD Finish Line experience is a plus.
Required Computer and Technical Skills-
Advance knowledge and proficiency in G-Suite (Google Docs, Sheets and Slides) or Microsoft Office equivalent programs. Data mining fundamentals required.
Preferred Computer and Technical Skills-
Intermediate knowledge of Manhattan 2012 Labor Management, Kaizen methodology, AutoCAD, and oracle SQL.
