Position

Title: Vice President, Solutions Engineering - AMERICAS

Location: Remote/Home Office

As the Vice President of Sales Engineering, you will be a key executive leader responsible for building, scaling, and leading a world-class sales engineering organization.

What you will do

  • Build mentor, and scale the Sales Engineering organization to meet the needs of the business.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to define and execute the sales engineering strategy to achieve company goals.
  • Drive technical sales activities, including product demonstrations, proof-of-concept (POC) support, and technical due diligence.
  • Build strong relationships with strategic customers and prospects to ensure long-term success and satisfaction.
  • Understand the business challenges of customers and create tailored solutions that leverage our observability platform to solve their problems.
  • Stay current with industry trends, product advancements, and the competitive landscape in the observability and cloud-native ecosystem.
  • Contribute to sales forecasting and provide visibility into the technical pipeline and forecast for the quarter.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on sales engineering activities, opportunities, and challenges.

What makes you an ideal candidate

  • Proven track record of leading sales engineering teams, ideally in the observability, APM, or cloud monitoring space.
  • Extensive experience in selling complex, high-value technical solutions to enterprise customers.
  • In-depth understanding of modern cloud infrastructure, observability, monitoring, and APM technologies
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to develop, mentor, and motivate a high-performance team.
  • Expertise in solution selling and consultative sales methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Experience with building and scaling high-performing sales engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
