Manager, Agency Strategic Program Management

The opportunity

This role will represent Agency Strategic Program Management to take an ownership and responsibility for the full end-to-end delivery of Agency Strategic Program and any other programs which may be launched from time to time.

On the job you will:

Agency Strategic Program Management (60%)

  • Develop business cases to align with Agency strategy and articulate a plan with objectives, prioritization, deliverable, timelines and a formal tracking process.
  • Partner with Sale team to build effective programs with an ability to manage stakeholders’ expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
  • Overseeing program governance & processes.
  • Managing program interactions with the program steering committee and sponsors as well as the interdependence among components within the program
  • Monitoring and managing overall program funding and health (risk, performance, synergies and communication)
  • Continuously review current program outcomes, identify gaps, and propose recommendations and intervention to improve the programs and adapt overall program strategies.
  • Managing program risks and issues and escalating critical risks and issues beyond the program manager's control to the program steering committee.

Other Programs (40%)

  • Be responsibility for any other programs which may be launched from time to time.
  • To support the effective operationalization of Agency Strategic Programs, this role will also need to work with cross-functional departments to ensure overall program alignment. (For example, analysis and deployment of 13M persistency metrics, codification of required program metrics such as FYP, risk analysis for underwriting limits etc.)
  • Conduct and provide presentations and updates to senior executive management team and regional teams on overall program progress and metrics, including recommendations and business cases where necessary. Overall team management of the Agency Strategic Program Management team.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree is a minimum. Master’s degree will be favorable.
  • At least 5 years of fulltime work experience, with demonstrable experience in delivering high profile projects/programs for the company.
  • Project consultancy and management consultancy. Experience is a plus. Prior P&L ownership and/or business unit ownership is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Should have basic knowledge level in data analytics, including some basic level of database coding (e.g., SQL), and front-end data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI).
  • Strong in senior stakeholder management and working collaboratively across departments.
  • Work across all functions in MVL, including local and regional teams.
