Psychosocial Program Coordinator - Transplant
The Transplant Psychosocial Coordinator plays an integral role in assisting transplant patients with the critical function of coordinating psychosocial needs of candidates, recipients, living donors and families as well as financial planning for their transplant surgery and future medical needs. The Transplant Psychosocial Coordinator is also a key member of the transplant center selection committee and must provide up to date and accurate input on patient psychosocial status and financial clearance for transplantation.
Required Education:
Completed a course of study with specialization in clinical practices and holds a master's degree from a graduate school of social work accredited by the council of Social Work Education.
Required Experience:
At least two years experience in a related field or similar position in a hospital of physician practice. Transplant experience preferred.
