We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join us in Lebanon or Egypt! This role will directly report into the Head of Experience & Platforms
Role summary
As UI/UX Experience Designer, you will be involved in the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design efforts across our digital products. You will play a crucial role in translating user needs and business goals into visually appealing and intuitive digital experiences. You will be part of the the design team creating solutions that enhance user satisfaction and drive engagement with internal and external clients. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual and experiential aspects of our digital products. Your expertise will contribute to creating designs that resonate with users, elevate our brand, and drive meaningful engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a clear design strategy that aligns with the company's brand, target audience, and business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions are in line with overall product vision.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles, ensuring that all design decisions are rooted in user research, personas, and usability testing.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design iterations and improvements.
- Lead the creation of user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate the user journey and interactions.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of UX designs.
- Guide the development of visually engaging and cohesive UI designs that reflect the brand's visual identity and enhance user engagement.
- Define and maintain design systems, pattern libraries, and guidelines to ensure consistency across products.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide design insights, and manage expectations.
- Stay current with industry trends, new design tools, and emerging technologies to ensure the team's skills and knowledge remain up to date.
- Manage design projects, set timelines, allocate resources, and track progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Prepare departmental reports and accurately meet department requirements, policies and standards.

Desired skills and experience
- BSc in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful digital projects.
- Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and user research methodologies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders.
- Experience in creating design systems, pattern libraries, and UI guidelines.
- Familiarity with front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Connected and experienced within the MENA market
- Experience with senior client relationship management, go-to-market, and business development strategy
- Proven track record of delivering on sales and growth targets
- Strong commercial mindset, experience managing large portfolio of senior clients
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong strategic thinking and understanding of business models and agency processes
- Driven, takes ownership and responsibility for work, is proactive not reactive
Technical Knowledge
- Experience with design software and wireframe tools. Proficiency in Figma, standard Adobe design suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Experience with survey and UX research tools (SurveyGizmo/Alchemer, eye tracking, dscout, etc)
- Ability to create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps to communicate interaction and design ideas
