Join our dynamic Centralized 3rd Party Manufacturing (C3PM) Quality Team at our Human Nutrition and Care Business, where you'll lead the charge in ensuring the highest quality standards for our diverse food product portfolio, manufactured by our partners and co-manufacturers.

As a member of this critical team, you'll oversee a wide range of quality activities including customer complaint management, support of customer requests, change management, risk assessments and quality performance management, driving seamless operations and customer satisfaction globally.

Your key responsibilities

1. Supplier, Co-Manufacturer, and Toller Oversight & Product Quality Management

Coordinate the qualification a (new) co-producer/material to ensure compliance to market regulations, respect the quality agreements, appropriate GMP level and other process related requirement needed to meet the Product Specifications.

Conduct regular audits, inspections, and performance reviews to ensure compliance with all relevant food and pharma regulations and standards.

Single point of contact for our co-manufacturing partners for all quality and regulatory aspects: Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution.

Oversee the quality of specific assigned products from production through to delivery, ensuring all products meet required quality agreements, standards, and specifications.

Provide final and global approval for releasing a product to market

Perform thorough risk assessments of suppliers to identify potential quality issues and supply chain disruptions and create mitigation strategies.

2. Quality Assurance Processes & Regulatory Compliance

Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve quality assurance protocols and procedures to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Plan and execute monitoring plans (spot checks) on Third Party Manufactured products.

Conduct root cause analysis and ensures corrective actions for any quality issues.

Contribute to change management for products which are responsible.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation.

Ensure all Quality Management System documentation is up-to-date, accessible and complies with regulatory and company requirements.

3. Data Analysis, Reporting, and Customer Interaction

Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Measure supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and service

Address and resolve quality-related customer complaints and issues.

Work closely with the customer service team to ensure timely and effective communication with customers, including questions/request on quality related aspects

Propose changes of quality assurance processes based on customer feedback to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

4. Continuous Improvement and cross-functional collaboration

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives are met bring the expertise of dsm-firmenich global functions to challenge and support the different co-manufacturers.

Coordinate/communicate with the different global stakeholders (e.g. supply chain, global quality, product management) any quality related issues.

Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Propose and implement solutions to improve quality assurance processes.

You bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Food technology, Quality management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, quality assurance or a similar role in the food, pharma, or allied industries.
  • Experience in auditing and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of HACCP methodology, relevant food legislation and regulations. Experience with Halal and Kosher standards are an additional asset.
  • Practical experience in Quality Control Laboratories and in chemical / biological manufacturing is beneficial.
  • Experience to work with diverse and cross-functional teams, internally and externally.
  • Good communication skills, organization and planning, ability to multi-task, team building, conflict resolution, coaching, mentoring, strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office, SAP and LIMS.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Customer focus, collaboration, effective communication, results-driven, making risk-based decisions, nimble learning, influences, demonstrates self-awareness, stakeholder management.
