We are seeking applications for talented and passionate hospitality professionals to join our team for ongoing permanent positions at our villages in the Gunnedah Basin region in NSW. We are offering the opportunity to attend an Assessment Centre to learn about what a career with Civeo can do for you, as well as a comprehensive insight into life and working in our Villages. This is a half day event where you’ll participate in activities, meet with the TA team & operational leaders, and ask any questions you might have.

Positions available include General Assistants (Kitchen, Housekeeping, Bar / Retail Attendants etc.) Guest Services Assistants, Facilities Attendants as well as supervisory roles in each of these areas.

Your participation at our Assessment Centre will enable us to make swift hiring decisions and you can expect an outcome within 10 days of attending. This session will be held in Tamworth on Friday 23rd of May.

The villages we are hiring for are located throughout the Gunnedah Basin in Boggabri and Narrabri in regional NSW.

Ideally, you will have prior experience in remote work but if not, you are very welcome to apply. We will be asking you to demonstrate that you are resilient, adaptable and seek out community and support networks to enable you to thrive in isolated conditions.

Essential requirements:

• Be willing to undertake a National Police Clearance
• Valid Drivers license – Manual C class preferred but others considered
• Ability to commit to ongoing 2:1 roster, involving 2 weeks living and working on site, one week R&R
• Able to travel via Drive In / Drive out from your home to the Villages
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
• Flexible to work both day or night shifts as required for your role
• Willing to complete required company and site inductions
• Current legal right to work in Australia, ideally of 12 months of more
• Relevant tickets for the position you are applying for (e.g. forklift ticket for stores, RSA for F&B departments etc.)
• For supervisory roles, previous demonstrated experience managing teams within a hospitality setting is essential, ideally in or around remote locations (DIDO/FIFO)

• Attend the Civeo Assessment Centre, where you’ll participate in activities, meet with the TA team & operational leaders, and ask any questions you might have - we’re always here to help
• Complete Civeo paperwork and provide relevant documents
• Complete Pre-Employment Medical (at cost to Civeo at a location near you)
