Children's Wisconsin has a Communications Coordinator opening on their team!

Location: Hybrid, must be local to Milwaukee

What you will do:

Communicates information about programs, services, news and events of Children's Wisconsin to employees and providers, patient families, the general public and other selected audiences, with strong emphasis on written communications. Provides assistance in planning, developing and implementing the organization's communications and marketing efforts. Coordinates the planning and production of a variety of communications tools and channels, including print, digital, social media, video and events.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, public relations, communications or related field.
  • Three years of public relations or marketing communications experience required, with demonstrated experience in writing, editing and event support.
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with the public including staff members, employees, families, news media and the general public.
  • Good judgment and organizational ability to prioritize multiple projects. Able to meet daily demands and deadlines, as well as respond to urgent situations.
  • Experienced using Microsoft Office products, digital content management systems and social media tools.
  • Possess effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively write for a wide variety of audiences.
