JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
The primary role of the Operations Excellence Manager is to manage the consolidation and reporting of supply chain KPIs for entire of Operations and drive continuous improvement in supply chain performance through implementation and maintenance of standardized processes, planning best practices, root cause analysis and corrective action. the Operations Excellence Manager will for the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives that are aimed at moving our organization toward Operational Excellence that must deliver quantifiable service, quality or cost outcomes for the business Additionally, will support training and roll out to the whole Operations and manage the improvement projects across the operations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Performance Management and Reporting (as project requirement)
- Manage the consolidation and reporting of Operations and drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Provide performance reporting to management through a country dashboard.
- Run the Affiliate monthly supply chain performance call and follow up on agreed action plans.
Operations Best Practices (Mainly focus for Logistic)
- Manage a periodic inventory strategy review for entire ANI to establish and maintain target safety stock levels by product to ensure service levels to customer while optimizing net working capital.
- Support the implementation of operations policies and standard operating procedures. Ensuring compliance to procedures and standardize ways of working in line with best practices
- Drive for productivity saving and process optimization
- Document and share best practice within BU.
- To be able to identify the value proposition for various projects and work with procurement colleagues to populate operational initiatives for Cost Leadership saving.
Supply Chain Systems, Tools and Data
- Develop standard reports and roll out in all Operations
- Support the roll out of any new supply chain systems and tools, act as the subject matter expert / key user
- Manage periodic updates for and publish supply chain planning master data for the country
Others
- Operations’ Project portfolio management
- Project planning with specific deadlines and tasks
- Project implementation with detailed coordination and clear expectation from stakeholders
- Drive for the continuous improvement projects/ initiatives
- Able to learn and then teach other teams basic lean concepts and problem solving tools (5 Why’s, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Analysis)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Work Experience
- Experience - Project Management & Supply Chain Management
- Experience Details:
- Extensive and proven professional knowledge in supervising a transition project of a supply chain operation as reflected by practical experience in manufacturing or corporate warehouse operations (from warehouse to distributor as distributor).
- Demonstrated ability to perform technology needs assessment to determine changes for a supply management application and other supporting applications.
- Experience working in Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, Manufacturing or Procurement.
- Have led or participated in continuous improvement related projects (5S, TPM, LEAN, Six Sigma, etc.)
- PMP or Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Certification preferred
Education
- Education Level: Bachelor/Master
- Field of Study/ Qualification: A Bachelor's Degree in related area; and/or equivalent experience/training.
