Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Experience launching consumer-facing products.
  • Experience with data analytics and creating requirements for data systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • Product experience with consumer community or social product.
  • Product experience utilizing data to optimize user growth and engagement.
  • Experience developing partnerships and building products cross-organizationally.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will provide the data infrastructure, insights, and experiences to grow engagement for Google’s most valuable users, impacting Google Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and improving the sharing and connection experience for users across Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Partner across product areas to achieve key objectives and results (OKRs) related to top-level growth and engagement.
  • Collaborate with UX, data science, and engineering to generate insights that drive sharing growth and optimize third-party sharing best practices.
  • Define the strategy, roadmap, and detailed requirements for Google's cross-Product Area sharing analytics offering.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Google's cross-product area analytics offering, communicating insights to executive and cross-product area stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed, customer-focused product requirements to enhance the overall sharing funnel experience.
