Technical Writer

Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX (onsite T-TR)

Duration: 6 months

Pay: Up to $61.30/hour DOE

Planet Interactive is looking for a Technical Writer to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 6-month contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and will hybrid in Austin, TX.

Technical Writer Responsibilities:

• Work with our developers to gather raw content
• Organize content across 3-4 teams
• Edit raw content for readability and usability
• Convert hand drawn content to digital formats
• Publish content using internal and third-party tools
• Gather feedback from client teams for further improvements

Technical Writer Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree preferred
• At least 4 years of experience working within technical systems, including web applications and CMS systems
• Fast learner with an intuitive grasp of complex systems
• Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
• Extreme attention to detail balanced with the ability to execute on time
• Ability to proof content and make sure it adheres to company guidelines
• Organized and able to juggle multiple priorities
• Experience working in ambiguous, fast-paced, and frequently changing environments
