Business Change Director – Strategy

Location: Hybrid 2: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered.

The Business Change Director - Strategy is a critical contributor, responsible for partnering with Care Navigation teammates to deliver and execute on key initiatives that support the achievement of Carelon and Enterprise-wide goals.

How you will make an impact:

  • Provides program, project, and change management support to both local and enterprise-wide initiatives related to digitization and optimization of clinical programs (Case Management, Disease Management, Wellness).
  • Creates and implements execution plans/roadmaps, identifies and resolves issues, and leads efforts to identify best practices and operationalize clinical model redesign strategies.
  • Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required, and develops comprehensive communication strategies to bring stakeholders along the way of change.
  • Collaborates with several matrix partners to develop and design whole health clinical digital assets that elevate the member/provider experience, support business needs, and support Carelon growth.
  • Designs methods for integrating functions and processes.
  • Gathers and uses data to drive decision-making and KPI monitoring to ensure accomplishment of strategic goals.
  • Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.
  • Development of leadership deliverables to report on initiative status, product performance, strategic alignment, and more.
  • Provides expertise in the business areas in culture/change management activities.
  • Provides expertise in process planning and portfolio management activities.
  • Supports the execution of the operating plan.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS in a related field and a minimum of 10 years managing mid to large-scale change/project initiatives; or any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • A demonstrated ability to strategically create and drive execution plans that deliver quick wins and incremental programs toward broader strategic objectives is preferred.
  • Knowledge of planning models and methodology, project management, and change management experience (strategic and execution) is preferred.
  • Clinical program/product knowledge is preferred.
  • Strategy development and execution experience are strongly preferred.
  • Leadership storytelling that encompasses various forms of communication, including presentations, status reports, proof points, and other deliverables, is strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location, the salary* range for this specific position is $123,288 to $184,932
