We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Product Management - Data Delivery to join our Custody team. This role is located in Pune.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Data Delivery to lead an agile Group within the Enterprise Custody Platform.

This role is responsible for ensuring seamless delivery of platform data to clients, counterparties and internal stakeholders, enabling clients to drive business outcomes and operational processes. The integration of Custody data into Client and Counterparty operating models is critical to the platform’s success and will be a key differentiator in the Custody business.

You will own the end-to-end product strategy for delivering data solutions, including order management system (OMS) integration, real-time reporting services, and the development of new data-driven products.

As a Product Manager you will lead the Data Delivery Group including leadership of a team of Product Owners and PODs that deliver against your vision.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Product Leadership, Strategy and Execution

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for Custody data delivery solutions to BNY clients and counterparties
  • Define and own the Objectives and Key Results to demonstrate and measure the value delivered by the Data Delivery group
  • Define, own and prioritize the backlog of requirements to drive the roadmap
  • Develop a vision for client-centric data products, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering against client and stakeholder expectations
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including Engineering, sales, and operations teams, to validate vision, outcomes and own execution

Client-Focused Data Solutions

  • Define and own the vision for how Custody data integrates into client and counterparty operating models to drive processes across the Custody lifecycle
  • Work with client facing teams and operations to validate target experience design and operating models to support
  • Develop reporting services that are customized by configuration, not build
  • Establish a set of internal KPIs to measure effectiveness and benefit realization for operational efficiency and client outcomes
  • Lead the integration of Order Management Systems (OMS) and counterparty organizations to enhance seamless data access and decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to create new data-driven products that provide actionable insights for clients

Technology & Operational Excellence

  • Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure high-performance data infrastructure capable of handling real-time demands
  • Define standards for data governance, security, and compliance in alignment with industry regulations
  • Familiarity with data standards including taxonomies and models
  • Drive continuous improvement in data delivery processes to enhance speed, reliability, and scalability
  • Experience with cloud-based data infrastructure and real-time streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Snowflake)

To be successful in this role we are seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 18+ years of experience in product management, data delivery, or technology leadership within financial services
  • Product leader with a demonstrable history of delivering value to business and clients in agile environments
  • Strong knowledge of real-time data systems, APIs, and Order Management System (OMS) integrations.
  • Experience delivering enterprise reporting solutions and data analytics products
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, client-driven environments with high expectations for data accuracy and performance.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business teams.
