What you will do:
- Coordinate daily deliveries by effectively scheduling drivers and helpers in the assigned areas
- Ensure adherence to and education of Beacon’s safety policies for staff
- Deliver superior service to both internal and external customers
- Follow-up promptly with customers to ensure overall satisfaction
- Manage Material Transfers between regional branches
- Record accurate mileage in RTA for all assigned district vehicles and upkeep GPS Data
- Adhere to union contracts, OSHA, and DOT regulations consistently
- Keep an accurate delivery logbook, reviewed weekly
- Ensure availability of safe and reliable vehicles and forklifts for operations
- Serve as a liaison between the warehouse contact at the branch, the sales team and the customers during deliveries
- Collaborate with the Regional Operations Manager to ensure daily compliance, validate issues, identify resolutions, and coordinate resources
What you will bring:
- Ability to multitask effectively and manage time efficiently
- Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication, including customer relations
- Knowledge of OSHA and DOT requirements
- Familiarity with local areas for optimized deliveries
- Computer proficiency
- Required CDL driver experience; dispatching background a plus
- Preferred experience in the building products industry
