POSITION PURPOSE

The Assist Patient Journey Solutions (PJS) Manager, Glaucoma, Thailand will be accountable for assisting Glaucoma TA - related strategy development and its implementation, within the Patient Journey Solutions department. The Assist PJS manager will play a key role in developing and recommending specific marketing objectives for products sold, manage the execution of authorized marketing plans, initiate project and activities to achieve or exceed sales volume and profit margin planned, and engaging with crucial stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and patient-centric approach to therapeutic area management.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Planning and Organizing

  • Gain business insights and integrate them into the strategy to propose financial budget for further development of annual budget plan to fully exploit the market potential.
  • Develop marketing strategy to achieve business unit sales target, within the framework of company objectives.
  • Initiate product marketing plan to ensure the achievement of short and long term business unit objectives.
  • Gather data to understand customer needs, market size, market growth and competitive share position and initiate market research project if needed.
  • Establish new product planning to ensure effective pre-marketing prior to launch.
  • Plan and develop country key opinion leader to provide education and information to customers.
  • Recommend to and coordinate with regional team to develop regional key opinion leader.

Implementation, Coordination and Monitoring

  • Manage and drive new product development program and existing business through close coordination with local sales representatives, international strategic marketing.
  • Develop, support and manage the in-market business, optimize resources to achieve the goal.
  • Maintain contact and build relationships with key opinion leaders to get support and build company image.
  • Develop creative input for the marketing plan and key product strategies, tactics and promotional activities to achieve maximum market impact.
  • Monitor competitive product promotion and develop specific measures to counter competitive activity.
  • Continually review assigned products progress/prognosis with Sales Manager to initiate corrective measures where necessary.
  • Implement all training activities related to product promotion for Santen and Distributor’s field personnel.
  • Organize, implement, control and report on pre-launch campaigns of assigned products.
  • Liaise with the Regulatory Affairs Manager and the Sales Managers in conducting safety monitoring programs for assigned products.

Cross Functional Coordination and Effective Communication

  • Coordinate with the Sales Manager to ensure that marketing plan of each product is communicated to field force.
  • Lead the market shaping and market development programs to improve treatment access and enhance patient outcome within the Glaucoma therapeutic area.

Qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Having experience in Ophthalmology would be preferred.
  • At least 3 years in Marketing within International Pharmaceutical Company.
  • High motivation and good collaboration.
  • Willing to make overseas field trips for learning & training product.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Pleasant personality and interpersonal skills.
  • Work under high pressure.
  • Fluent English, spoken & written.
  • Ability to travel based on business needs.
