The Opportunity

As SAP’s fastest-growing alliance partner, EY is expanding its Nordic SAP practice as clients transition from legacy ERP systems to SAP S/4HANA. Joining our highly engaged team of consultants offers the chance to work on exciting SAP transformation projects that address strategy, processes, technology, and organizational impacts. Our SAP Finance professionals help clients improve their finance processes and financial performance using SAP technology.

As an SAP Finance Consultant at EY, you will typically be engaged in:

• Leading and coordinating workstreams and teams of SAP consultants, including:
  • Analyzing finance processes and readiness.
  • Gathering business requirements and designing functional finance processes.
  • Planning and supporting system transitions.
  • Coordinating system configuration and development of SAP Finance products.
• Defining the finance transformation roadmap.
• Supporting business value realization of finance/ERP transformation.

Your Key Responsibilities

As an experienced Finance Consultant, you will develop and implement solutions within SAP to help sustain the success of our national and international customers. You will support and lead ongoing efforts to establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with our clients by actively engaging in sales-related activities. While based in Helsinki, projects may include cross-border collaboration, providing opportunities to travel within Finland, the Nordics, rest of Europe and globally.

Skills & Attributes for Success

• Good foundational knowledge of finance, controlling, reporting, or consolidation processes through work experience.
• Understanding of ERP systems gained from working on implementation projects.
• Hands-on mentality with the ability to drive SAP Finance implementations.
• Teamwork is essential for thriving in this role.
• Sales mindset—ability to assist in proposals and sales activities.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Finance domain, ideally with SAP S/4HANA Central Finance.
• Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or similar disciplines.
• Knowledge of SAP sub-modules and processes such as General Ledger Accounting, Asset Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, in English.
