As a QA Manager you will: 

  • Supervise, lead and train the QA team; 
  • Be responsible for high production quality and definition of processes for constant improvement of production quality; 
  • Assist in setting up and executing the recruitment plan for the QA team, which includes sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates; 
  • Represent the team at product planning meetings; 
  • Meet and negotiate with the rest of the engineering team management on engineering priorities; 
  • Responsible for leading, motivating, engaging, as well as for career development (suggests trainings/courses) and mentoring of all QA team members; 
  • Monitor the work and performance of team members and regularly provide feedback to team members on the quality of their work; 
  • Write employee reports and resolve internal issues; 
  • Regular reporting to superiors; 
  • Lead and coordinate the development of tools for product testing, assurance and product quality control; 
  • Research and develop new products in the field of testing and procedures; 
  • Plan deadlines for achieving company goals; 
  • Communicate and implement tasks received from the Director and senior management. 

You are a strong fit for this role if you have: 

  • 3+ years of experience in an engineering management role or a senior engineering technical/team lead role; 
  • Experience with testing automation, also creating functional, integration and performance tests. Knowledge and experience in programming will be considered as a plus; 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; 
  • Strong people management skills, organization and time-management skills; 
  • Flexible, constructive and positive attitude; 
  • Exceptional communication skills.
