We are currently recruiting for an Office Support Administrator in Madrid (6-9 months).

The MBE subsidiary based in The Netherlands is a network of branches (Germany Branch (Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich), Spain Branch (Madrid, Barcelona), Belgium Branch (Brussels), Austria Branch (Vienna)), managed from Amsterdam.

The role includes the following:

Customer Operations Support:

  • Provide support for processing of customer operations (guarantees, loans, foreign exchange, remittances, etc.).
  • Assist in resolving customer queries and issues by liaising with Front Office departments and customers.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and update of customer records and databases.
  • Filling and archiving customer operations documentation.

Finance Support:

  • Support with Reconciling banks statements. Suspense’s account reporting and other internal controls.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports to local Management.
  • Support the preparation of regulatory reporting, mainly to Bank of Spain.
  • Support the audit processes providing the necessary information requested.

Administration Support:

  • Assist with general administrative tasks related to office maintenance, processing of invoices, managing mailing, maintenance of archives, etc.

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:

Skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience performing similar tasks, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Spanish, with the capability to interact professionally across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
