Job Description

Your Responsibilities

• Present innovative pantry and end to end science-backed turnkey solution concepts to customers with clear selling point, cost effective and strong scientific story
• Support the Creation of and Implementation of the Product Development for Health & Wellness Supplements (Human Health), encompassing microbiome solutions and functional botanical extracts; and also need to support for Food and Beverage development with H&W ingredients
• Working cross-functionally to tailor projects to meet customer’s needs and ‘complete’ the win;
• Supporting the commercial teams with new and existing business relating to new products offering with strong science;
• Seeking partners to provide contract manufacturing service for new product presentations and close collaboration with OEM partners to ensure smooth delivery of products launch.
• Working with other departments and across regions to nourish innovation from idea through to launch;
• Support CD&D proactive innovation and the customized development of products innovations and customer reactive projects;
• Set up proper laboratories to complete microbiome work. Set SOP’s.
• Be an active member of the HACCP review team.
• Reviewing new product costs;
• Carrying out any work which the company may from time to time deem necessary

Your Profile

• In-depth knowledge of Probiotics/ Microbiology
• Experience in probiotics fermentation will be advantage
• Master or above in Microbiology /Biotechnology (fermentation)/ Health Sciences/ Formulation science / Food science
• Proven track record in developing dietary supplement product using H&W ingredients in Human Nutrition - ideally experience in the probiotic and functional botanical extract industry.
• Should have experience in dietary supplements, Having food and Beverage /pharmaceutical development experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Strong communication skills & interpersonal skills;
• High quality development process experience a must;
• Experience in presenting and liaising with customers;
• Self-motivated; Resilience and be positive; Eye for detail;
• Problem solving mindset with a can-do attitude;
• Willingness to travel as part of the role;
• Fluent in English & Mandarin
