Job Overview:
We are seeking a SAP BW/HANA Application Specialist to manage and maintain our SAP environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of application-related tasks, ensuring system stability, performance, and security. The role includes monitoring, system administration, transport management, and the implementation of upgrades and migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Monitoring & Responsibility: Oversee all application-related tasks, ensuring system stability and smooth operations.
- System Stability: Maintain and enhance the stability of SAP BW and HANA systems, including performance tuning and regular housekeeping activities.
- Transport Management: Manage transport requests and ensure proper implementation across environments.
- Source System Connections: Manage and troubleshoot connections between BW and other source systems.
- Implementations & Upgrades: Lead and support the implementation of new functionalities, system upgrades, migrations, and system copies/refreshes.
- AMS (Application Management Services): Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP systems.
- SSO/SAML Implementations: Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) and SAML configurations.
Desired Skills:
- HANA Administration: Proficiency in HANA administration tasks, including HANA restore, SSL configuration, performance tuning, and security.
- SAP Fiori & BOBI: Experience with other SAP technologies, such as SAP Fiori and BOBI, including front-end server monitoring.
- Proven experience in managing SAP BW and HANA environments.
- Strong technical background in SAP system administration and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori, BOBI, and related SAP stacks.
- Basic SAC Knowledge
