POSITION TITLE: Intermediate Data Transformation & Reporting Specialist

DEPARTMENT: Managed Accounts & GIPS Standards

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, e.g., finance / accounting or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in investment operations, performance analysis, or a related field.
  • General understanding of the financial markets and an understanding of investment performance and calculation required.
  • Able to read and write Structured Query Language (SQL) queries.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, experience with Excel and PowerBI required.
  • Advanced knowledge in business intelligence tools, StatPro and Bloomberg required.
  • Experience using BI tools and familiarity with Databricks and other Azure-related products required.
  • Knowledge of investment vehicles (i.e., Mutual Funds, SMAs, ETFs, or Institutional Separate Accounts)

MAJOR DUTIES:

The primary focus of the Data Transformation and Reporting Analyst is to leverage advanced technologies to enhance reporting capabilities and support organizational growth. The Analyst will interact with various internal departments, external partners, vendors, and clients to ensure data integrity, compliance, and strategic decision-making.

  • Design tools to assist with data population for standard marketing presentation materials.
  • Develop standardized templates and interactive dashboards for data visualization and decision support.
  • Support partnerships with consultant databases to streamline data submissions and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Assist in enhancing performance reporting with advanced analytics and collaborate with investment and sales teams to refine metrics.
  • Develop tailored reports for the Sales and Product & Marketing departments highlighting investment strategies, performance benchmarks, and compliance metrics.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the database to ensure accurate and timely updates.
  • Integrating advanced analytics techniques to enhance decision-making and risk management.
  • Expand reporting capabilities to offer client-specific dashboards and customized reporting solutions.
  • Assist in implementing self-service analytics tools for clients to facilitate interactive data exploration and real-time performance monitoring.
  • Leverage feedback loops and stakeholder input to iterate and improve reporting processes and analytical capabilities.
  • Strengthen relationships with third-party verification providers to ensure consistency and accuracy between internal data and external databases.
  • Conduct regular audits and validations to uphold data integrity and compliance standards.

HOURS/LOCATION:

  • 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Overtime as required)
  • Federated Hermes Tower – Hybrid (in office / remote)
