Position Overview

IT Application Owner

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

IT Application Owner is responsible for identifying and assessing the current state technological infrastructure for gaps or potential improvements using their knowledge of infrastructure solutions and where industry innovations are in their lifecycles. Work includes: •Determining the appropriate technological solutions to balance delivery and compliance •Identifying gaps in the current infrastructure solutions and implementing the associated improvements whilst ensuring compliance with technical roadmaps •Improving the safety and security of IT Applications, compliance with internal and external standards and operational readiness •Supporting the bank’s audit function in the remediation of audit points and issues in order to reduce risk •Identifying and assessing IT Application risk and implementing the associated technology measures •Contributing and assisting the implementation of policy and strategy specific to IT management and Information Security •Identifying opportunities to incorporate new technologies/approaches into best practice

Responsibilities

  • You will ensure availability, stability and performance of the application on Production and Test environments.
  • You will ensure the application’s compliance with Deutsche Bank IT policies (i.e. security monitoring, roadmap compliance, access management-SoD, etc), including availability of all necessary application/service knowledge and documentation.
  • You will support the Portfolio Owner, in terms of application and compliance related topics.
  • You will facilitate Disaster Recovery activities by reviewing DR plans and coordinating the execution of DR exercise for the application.
  • You are responsible for Access Management, clear Segregation of Duties and Infrastructure Security.

Skills

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a in a similar role.
  • Basic technical capabilities and infrastructure knowledge (e.g.: Restful Services, Java, and Cloud Technology, Oracle database, Linux)
  • ITIL certified. Experience with Incident Management, IT Service Management, DevOps process workflow, Change Management
  • Experience with Compliance process (i.e. security monitoring, roadmap compliance, access management etc),
  • Experience with tooling across the Software Development Lifecycle/DevOps: Jira, HP ALM, Confluence, Artifactory, TeamCity, Git/BitBucket etc.)
  • Strong ability to manage unexpected events; control and deal with them quickly and efficiently.
  • Pro-active team player with very good communication and excellent English language skills for interacting with stakeholders.
  • Experience with working together with Agile/SCRUM teams and their methods and tooling.
