Job Summary: 

The Human Relations (HR) team in Mercedes-Benz Singapore offers a unique and valuable opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or related fields. The role involves diverse responsibilities within HR functions, providing you a platform to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, fostering your growth and play a part in contributing to the success of the organization.

The HR intern will be an integral part of our HR team and be responsible for managing end-to-end process of internship management, participating in employee relations initiatives, ensuring compliance with HR policies and employment laws, handling HR administrative tasks, and contributing to various HR projects and initiatives.

Responsbilities:

Intern Management

  • Coordinate end-to-end process of intern management, including job posting, resume screening, onboarding and off-boarding.
  • Ensure internship and different universities timelines are well-executed as well as assisting business units to understand the hiring process of interns.
  • Continuously improve process as needed.

Employee Relations

  • Participate in employee engagement initiatives and events to foster a positive work environment.
  • Assist in maintaining employee records and HR databases.

Compliance

  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support compliance efforts related to employment laws and regulations.

HR Administration

  • Handle various HR administrative tasks, including management of employees’ personnel e-files, office access cards, corporate passes, preparation of visa letters and other contract documentation.
  • Support the team in HR-related communications and updates.
  • Contribute to various HR projects and initiatives, such as organizing new hire induction, lunch talks, preparation of HR presentation materials and updating of HR internal process workflow.

Any other reasonable assigned tasks.

Qualifikationen

Qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (Human Resources Management/ Business Management or related fields).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Some familiarity with local employment laws and regulations and HR practices.
  • Strong interest in human resources and talent management.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Meticulous, with an eye for detail
