Job Description Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team on the midnight shift in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, experience in an FDA-regulated facility, and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance and repair. This role requires working with precision and professionalism to support continuous manufacturing operations while adhering to all safety and documentation standards.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Adhere strictly to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and new installations of plant equipment and machinery with minimal supervision
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and machinery using schematics, diagnostic tools, and hand tools
• Complete electrical projects and installations according to electrical line-ups and documentation
• Support operations by working collaboratively with manufacturing and maintenance teams
• Conduct effective troubleshooting to identify hazards, malfunctions, and perform safe and timely repairs
• Verify all repaired or installed equipment is fully functional, and ensure a clean, safe work area upon completion
• Maintain and use required diagnostic devices, tools, and meters
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and suggest improvements to PM procedures
• Assist in the development of PLC troubleshooting skills
• Work overtime as required to support production demands

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (required)
• Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician, preferably in industrial or commercial environments
• Strong PLC troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Skilled in using electrical and hand tools, such as voltmeters and wire strippers
• Experience in industrial/commercial electrical systems maintenance
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
• Physically able to sit, stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
