Join our team supporting UCLA Health System! This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery and receipt of essential medical equipment and supplies across our hospitals and clinics.
You will be responsible for receiving shipments in our central receiving department and performing timely, reliable deliveries as a truck driver within the UCLA Health network. If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to support world-class patient care behind the scenes, we’d love to have you on our team.
Salary Range: $25.10-25.10/hour
This is an "as needed" per diem position; schedule and working hours will vary. May convert to Career.
Qualifications
- This position is required to operate a 28ft box trucl/university vehicle; experience with electric pallet jack, forklift, dollies, and heavy-duty transport carts.
- Required to hold vaild driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the Cailfornia Employer Pull Notice Program
- Lift/carry up to 50lbs, push/pull up to 100 ilbs, perform heavy manual tasks.
- Read, write and follow instructions in English; detail-orientated; comfortable with data entry on handhelds/computers; basic math for inventory and weight calculations.
- Adhere to infection control regulations; maintain a positive, team-orientated attitude; adaptable to workload changes and rotating shift; efficient and productive.
- Participate in required training, workshops, and drills.
