Job purpose

In alignment with AZKK’s stated goal of being #1 by 2025, IDS is currently playing a key role providing thought leadership and key digital and technological capabilities aiming to transform AZKK into a fully digitally enabled organization. To achieve this vision, it is imperative to deliver groundbreaking Digital capabilities at scale to permeate through the entire organization.

Reporting directly into the Head of IT, we are seeking highly motivated and strategic Enterprise Architect with a deep understanding of Sales & Marketing processes and technologies to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in aligning our IT landscape with the evolving needs of our Sales & Marketing functions, driving efficiency, and enabling growth.

The Senior Enterprise Architect will ensure that common architecture decisions support both business and IT strategy, and that architectures delivered are compliant with relevant AZ architecture standards, blueprints and roadmaps.

The role will understand implications of architecture requirements to ‘As-Is’ architectures and define/update ‘To-Be’ architectures applying AZ architecture guiding principles. 

Individuals with this role will lead technology strategy across AZ KK and will influence global strategy. They will be highly visible to senior AZ leaders, JLT and must communicate and influence at the highest levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Shape the Digital Vision: Partner with Sales & Marketing leadership to define their digital ambitions, translate business goals into technology roadmaps, and champion digital transformation initiatives. As a Senior Enterprise Architect, the role is focused on strategic planning typically over the 1-5 year horizon.
  • Architect for Agility: Design, develop, and implement future-proof architectures that support omnichannel marketing, personalized customer journeys, and real-time data-driven decision making.
  • Master of Integration: Champion API-driven integration to foster seamless communication between existing Sales & Marketing tools, cloud platforms, and emerging technologies.
  • Embrace the Cloud: Spearhead the migration of Sales & Marketing applications to the cloud, optimize scalability, and unlock flexibility for rapid evolution.
  • Data Whisperer: Champion data governance and analytics infrastructure to empower insightful decision making, personalize marketing campaigns, and maximize customer engagement.
  • Tech Evangelist: Stay ahead of the curve by researching and evaluating emerging technologies, like AI, AR/VR, and automation, for potential application in Sales & Marketing.
  • Bridge the Gap: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (IT, Development, Security) to ensure smooth implementation, ongoing support, and continuous improvement of digital solutions. The role will assess and review the work of both Enterprise and Solution architecture and create a balance between the immediate and the strategic
  • Support solution development: The Enterprise Architect will also support solution development efforts originating from portfolios, participate in and/or lead IT initiatives, domain groups and provide active guidance for better planning and decision making.
  • Lead with Influence: Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, inspiring buy-in and fostering a collaborative environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with 7+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or digital solution design.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading digital transformation projects within Sales & Marketing functions.
  • In-depth understanding of modern architectural principles (microservices, API-driven, cloud-native) and relevant design patterns.
  • Expertise in key Sales & Marketing technologies (CRM, marketing automation, data management platforms, analytics tools).
