Redaptive is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Senior Revenue Accountant. The Senior Revenue Accountant will be a key addition to the finance organization as Redaptive continues to grow. The successful candidate will provide direction and support to our customers in support of their accounting analysis as well as account for revenue contracts within the Redaptive books and records. This person will be a high-profile business partner for Sales, Legal, Financial Operations, FP&A, and Corporate Accounting and will be a key resource for establishing and maintaining business processes. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of success in positions of increasing responsibility. Job Responsibilities

  • Complete month end close process including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for various general ledger accounts (Revenue, COGS, etc.)
  • Partner with FP&A to understand revenue variances to budget/forecast and assist with monthly gross margin analysis.
  • Review new contracts, ensuring complete and accurate accounting. Prepare memos and financial guidance on technical accounting matters and financial reporting issues in accordance with US GAAP and SEC Regulations.
  • Establish strong working relationship and partnership with Legal, Sales and Operations. Provide revenue recognition training, as necessary.
  • Participate in customer calls in order to answer questions relating to accounting treatment of Efficiency-as-a-Service contracts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on emerging business initiatives in order to ensure accurate revenue accounting including documenting technical accounting memos to memorialize accounting conclusions.
  • Provide necessary support and detail to auditors, both financial and tax, by keeping the general ledger activity documented, supported and organized.
  • Lead continuous review of processes and controls around revenue streams and identify improvements.
  • Develop and streamline processes using system automation and tools to maximize efficiency and accuracy of revenue accounting systems and processes.
  • Work Timing: 12pm – 9pm

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting equivalent to United States Bachelor’s degree
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation
  • 6- 8 years of relevant experience (revenue accounting) including progressive corporate accounting experience at a public company.
  • Technically strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC requirements
  • Experience with NetSuite and SalesForce a plus
