THE ROLE:

System quality leader to drive validation strategy, methodology to ensure the best customer and end user experience with AMD products. You will touch cutting edge silicon, FW, and hardware and software technologies. You will have chances to see how they will be implemented in our product.

THE PERSON:

A quick learner for new technologies. Excellent communication skill (both verbal and written), including Mandarin and English. Key performance skills include decision making, problem solving, teamwork.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Study AMD silicon and system features; understand new features in silicon, BIOS, firmware, SW etc.
• Understand customer and user expectation on AMD system
• Define our validation strategy, methodology to achieve the best system experience
• Define quality metrics to meet customer and user expectations, commercial in specific
• Drive customer quality learning to system development processes

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Strong leadership in driving cross functional improvement
• Strong problem-solving skills and decision making
• Demonstrated technical expertise in the system validation development
• Expert in OEM validation strategy and quality metrics
• Expert in end user experience of client systems

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• BS-EE / BS-CE with 10+ years directly related experience. An advanced degree will be a plus.
