Director, Channels Transformation

The Director, Channels Transformation will be a member of the Transformation Leadership team reporting directly to the Senior Director of Sales Excellence, Compliance & Ethics. They will collaborate directly with Sales Leaders, Commercial Ops Leaders and other functional leaders supporting the sales organization. This role will jointly lead and be accountable for the success of key channel transformation opportunities within the sales organization. 

The successful candidate will help transform the channel sales process and channel Go-To-Market through projects that they will help drive. This role will have high visibility with management and requires mature leadership skills as well as strong change management skills. This candidate would need to demonstrate project leadership with a focus on strategy and planning, results accountability, and financial management. There is a high level of collaboration required with many team members across ADP.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Jointly manage key channel transformation efforts across core teams, steering committees and working groups to ensure project outcomes.
  • Socialize Partner Relationship Management (PRM) design solutions and business requirements with key decision makers, collect and incorporate feedback.
  • Creation and maintenance of the channel business case to gain funding and buy-in from key constituents and to ensure success of initiatives and investments.
  • Proactively monitor channel and PRM project results against plans and objectives.
  • Implement and use standard PMO tools and metrics to coordinate projects and track progress and ROI.
  • Assist the SVP, Worldwide Commercial Operations with special projects related to channels, including ADP third party relationships and special internal efforts.
  • Communicate complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view.
  • Lead projects with notable risk and complexity; develop the strategy for project execution
  • Solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. Contribute to the development of functional strategy. Lead project teams to achieve milestones and objectives

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Channel Sales, Channel Systems (PRM), System Design, Channel GTM and/or Process Improvement.
  • A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:
  • Must have high facilitation skills (able to move a group through a complex set of problems to maximize project goals and outcomes),
  • Adept at solution design - able to help guide the team to an optimal solution that drives both effectiveness and efficiency.
  • The ideal candidate will need to be able to handle multiple work streams, with varying degrees of complexity in a fast-moving and complex environment.
  • Ensure alignment of ADP Sales' objectives and initiatives to changing general and specific business conditions and develop innovative programs to address these changes while still maintaining relevance to the brand and business strategies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, proven negotiation skills, excellent collaborative interpersonal skills, outstanding business presentation (e.g. PPT) and financial modeling (e.g. Excel) skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
