Jacobs has recognized that our many of our clients have specialized operational and maintenance requirements that are the result of the operation of large complex transportation systems. Issues affecting the safety, operations and efficiencies of their operations occur without warning or at inopportune times and can have extensive impacts throughout their transportation networks. The ability to quickly react to these issues and the complex solutions required to resolve them is of critical value to our clients and as such we are looking to expand our Team to better position ourselves to assist our clients in resolving the problems of tomorrow. As a member of the New England Structures group, the Transportation Infrastructure Project Engineer is responsible for working with various disciplines to complete projects which include the evaluation of existing conditions, designing and detailing proposed engineering solutions, and providing engineering support during the execution of the solution.
The primary role of this position will be responding to specific client requests and/or emergencies and developing engineered solutions to address/resolve the unique requirements of a specific engineering opportunity. The Transportation Infrastructure Project Engineer will interface with the Owners/initiators of these projects and the Structures group staff to develop a detailed project plan to execute the required engineering scope in accordance with the unique needs of each specific opportunity. In addition, this position may require performing alternative or feasibility studies as part of the preliminary design for larger scale capital projects which may result.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $135,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
