We are seeking a motivated and experienced Roadway Project Manager to join our team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you’ll oversee and manage roadway and highway design projects across the state, with a particular focus on FDOT District 5 and Florida Turnpike Enterprise initiatives. You’ll collaborate with a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team to develop innovative, sustainable solutions that enhance transportation networks and improve mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Project Manager for highway and bridge design projects, including operational and safety improvements.
  • Lead technical teams in developing solutions to complex roadway design challenges, requiring a high degree of innovation and ingenuity.
  • Provide technical expertise by formulating and developing advanced design concepts, techniques, and standards.
  • Ensure effective utilization of engineering personnel while maintaining high technical quality standards.
  • Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to secure new projects and expand client relationships.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) License and ability to serve as EOR
  • Extensive post-graduate experience in transportation/highway engineering and management of roadway design projects.
  • Prior experience working with FDOT, ideally within District 5 and Florida Turnpike Enterprise.

This is a hybrid role. Ideally, you will work from a local Jacobs office on average 2 days per week. Travel for this role is less than 10% per year. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

105,000.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

The base salary range for this position is $105,000.00 to $180,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
