Commensurate with experience
Provide expert technical service, support, and maintenance for faculty and staff across a range of computing, printing, copying, voice, and network-related issues. This includes critical enterprise systems such as Banner ERP, D2L Learning Management System, Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, and video conferencing platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco WebEx. Additionally, this position is responsible for the installation, imaging, deployment, software installation, and ongoing administration of technology in campus classrooms and computer labs. The role also involves consulting with users on the acquisition of computers, printers, and related peripherals to ensure optimal technology solutions. Perform other duties as assigned.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field is required. Alternatively, an associate’s degree in a related field with five (5) years of extensive work experience, or seven (7) years of extensive work experience, may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
A minimum of three (3) years of extensive experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of microcomputers (both PC and Macintosh) and related peripherals. Experience must include the installation, service, and support of Windows 10 and 11, as well as macOS 10.5 and later.
Experience with installation, service, and support of instructional technology and audio/visual systems preferred.
