Job Description:

This position is responsible for collaboratively supporting a project team which is responsible for managing an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) initiative. This position is primarily responsible for supporting one of several autonomous aircraft and data collection projects which may include Signals Intelligence and Electronic Warfare, Data Science, Modeling and Simulation, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, and Big Data/Cloud Solutions. They will support a DoD entity with administration and coordination initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as both an Agile Business Analyst and Scrum Master, facilitating the adoption and implementation of Agile and SAFe methodologies within the team and organization.
  • Lead the development and clarification of user stories, ensuring they meet the criteria for clarity, completeness, and readiness for implementation.
  • Coach and train the team, management, and peers on Agile and SAFe principles, practices, and benefits, fostering an understanding and appreciation for agile methodologies.
  • Drive the work breakdown process with a team that may be resistant to change, ensuring that tasks are fully fleshed out and understood.
  • Champion continuous process improvement, identifying and implementing strategies to enhance team efficiency, product quality, and overall workflow.
  • Act as a mediator and facilitator in discussions and planning sessions, encouraging open communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Manage and prioritize competing priorities across multiple projects, ensuring strategic alignment and optimal resource allocation.
  • Step in to fulfill the roles of project manager or lead Scrum Master in their absence, ensuring project continuity and team support.
  • Collect, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into actionable user stories and project objectives.
  • Facilitate key agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives) and ensure that the team adheres to agile principles and practices.
  • Develop software solutions by conferring with stakeholders, studying information needs, and analyzing system flow, data usage, and work processes.

Required Skills:

  • Must possess an Active Secret Clearance; ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI preferred.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Scaled Agile Framework(SAFe) Certification.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas to and interact with customers, management, and peers with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • 5 + years of experience in management, or 2+ years in IT related experience.
  • Good understanding of cloud infrastructure in an multi CSP Environment (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience in support planning, schedules, and conducts analyses/studies of proposed program plans / roadmaps for accomplishing program activities.
  • Experience in preparation of oral and written briefings.
  • Experience in providing customer service support at all levels and the understanding to work with individuals both internally and externally to the organization.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading teams to achieve enterprise transformation objectives within a federal systems integrator environment.
  • Proficient in requirements management including elicitation, documentation, and traceability to solution implementation, design artifacts, documentation, and tests.
  • Demonstrated excellent project management and account management capabilities including customer-centric attitude, ability to lead evaluation of scope, staffing, risk, dependencies, communications, and quality.
  • Ability to work predominantly on-site (2700 Prosperity Ave, Fairfax, VA 22031) during core business hours.

Desired Skills:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI preferred.
  • Current Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Level 1 / II certification (Security+, CCNA Security, Network+ or A+).
  • Experience using Gitlab, Jira, and Confluence.
  • An interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
