RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and build Big Data Platform that is fault-tolerant and scalable.Participate in integration of front-end and back-end systems.Develop, refine and scale data management and analytics procedures, systems, workflows, best practices and other issues.Development of data-driven products.Visualize and communicate data clearly for use both internally and externally.Be active member of DevOps big data team collaborating with internal and external engineers to produce excellent products. Required Skills3+ years experience in building scalable, high-performance, reliable, highly available and large distributed systems with high degree of autonomy Completed a Masters or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplineExtensive design and implementation experience in distributed system and cloud service.Strong knowledge of Linux / UNIX systems. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Desired SkillsExpertise in Hadoop eco-system (YARN, Spark, MR, HDFS, HBase, Presto, Hive, etc.)Experience in one or more of the following cloud platforms: AWS Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Enterprise Cloud, or other cloud technologies.Experience in OS virtualization is a plus.Experience in big data real time analysis is a plus.Experience in one of the following languages: Go, C/C++, Java, C#, Ruby, Python etc.Experience in ML or/and graph analysis is a plus.Experience in enterprise cloud development experience is a plus.Experience in working in a distributed team environment is a plus The position will be located in our offices in Warsaw/ Wroclaw/ Bydgoszcz.
