The Role

As the Sales Manager within our Acquisition team, you’ll be responsible for mentoring, growing and developing your team of Sales Specialists passionate about winning new customers. You will achieve this by recruiting talent, mentoring, growing and developing your Specialist team.

You'll improve and optimise the sales effectiveness, conversion rates, deal velocity, and quota attainment of your team by using, executing and reinforcing the operational fields outlined in the MYOB Sales Leadership playbook. You will be responsible for building and developing our strategy for securing strategic opportunities while balancing volume and value.

What you'll be focused on...

  • Inspire your team to help businesses start, survive and succeed by winning new Enterprise customers
  • Establish plan to drive multi-quarter approach to pipeline generation, which is driven through self-sourcing touch plans
  • Consistently deliver revenue targets for our growth industries by setting priorities and coaching your team to execute the sales activities and lead to quota attainment
  • Build annual and quarterly sales initiatives plans to deliver your aligned industry territories’ sales results
  • Further accelerate the growth and development of the team and optimise our ability to gain share of the market as well as harness the market potential
  • Increasing opportunity velocity and win/ conversion rates

What we'd love to see from you...

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager with proven track record to optimally build a robust sales team
  • Experience in Sales or Business Development working within a global software / SaaS vendor
  • Consistent track record of targeting and acquiring new customers
  • Experience in selling sophisticated and / or technology solutions is essential
  • Exposure in ERP, Payroll, WFM, Practice Management and or Financial Services solution selling 
  • Prior knowledge of the accounting (professional services), manufacturing and wholesale or construction industry is desirable
